Triple-Delight Dessert

I am a dessert girl. I mean, I love, love, love to have a little somethin at the end of the day. Or the middle of the day. Or, like, an hour after dinner. Or, really, any time. A handful of cookies, bowl of ice cream, mmmmmmmmmmmmbrowniemmmmm. And, fo r me, it's not just the sweetness, it's the ceremony. Putting it together, settling down to watch something while I eat it. Like tonight, when I'm dragging myself through one of the final episodes of Lost. Seriously, I'm beginning to not care if any of them ever get off the island. But, on to snack time...

So, my absolute FAVORITE --shall we say-- sensible dessert is what I call the Triple-Delight:

1. Chocolate pudding (Jell-O Fat Free, sugar-free...etc.)
2. 1/4 cup Honey-Nut Cheerios
3. 1 cup sliced fruit (bananas, strawberries, blackberries OR a combo! yum!)

(I don't have an exact calorie count--the proof of that would be in the puddin'), but I'd say easily under 200.

Now, once again...it's the sweet and the ceremony. I love this because I putter around the kitchen for a few mintues, getting it all nice and arranged on a plate. Then, this isn't something to be just gulped right down. You can't eat and enjoy it standing. I really like to do a whole thing where I dip a fork in the pudding, then into the Cheerios, then stab a piece of fruit, and eat it all together. Great mix of textures, three levels of sweetness. It's savored and enjoyed.

Enjoy!

91 Days, actually...

We have been planning this trip forever, it seems. Every time that great big Disney bus takes us from the Magic Kingdom back to the airport, we're already planning out next visit. And now, it's just around the old calendar-corner.

Mikey and I have a tradition: Saturday morning, we go out for breakfast tacos, and we talk about our Disney plans. Sometimes, that's the most fun, making plans. And in that spirit, I've decided to share my vacation plans with anyone who cares to join along. Bounce ideas, ask opinions...and have accountability. Because from the beginning, I had two absolutes for this vacation.

(1) We're not charging a dime of it.
(2) I'm not going if I'm still weigh XYZ.

So---if you want, follow me and be a buddy as I go through my WDW plan. In this case, WDW stands for Water.Diet.Walk ... my regime to lose these last few pounds.

And, cheer me on as I stash away the final Disney Dollars.

Who knows? Maybe I'll inspire you to plan your own vacation!
